• Receptionists/Salon Coordinators - We believe in promoting our staff members from within. In order to become a stylist/colorist at Mark Garrison, you have to first start out as an assistant. This ensures fairness and encourages our well-established atmosphere of team-oriented progress and success.
Continuing Education
- We demand unparalleled performance and constant preparedness from everyone at our salon. Our staff carries the legacy of Mark Garrison and we ensure that they have the expertise to do so with skill and pride.
- Maintaining excellence goes hand-in-hand with continuing education and a commitment to better one’s skills and art. For this very reason, all assistants attend classes in the salon on Wednesday evenings, ensuring an expansive knowledge base and a well-rounded approach. The progress of each assistant is monitored through portfolios and tests, which are administered when their teachers decide that an assistant is ready to take the next step towards the floor. When ready, an assistant receives their first “Model Day”. This is a special opportunity to demonstrate new knowledge and skills by servicing clients under the close guidance of our more experienced stylists.
